The meeting was attended by Hennadiy Moskal, Committee Vice-Chairman; Hryhoriy Omelchenko and Olexandr Riabeka, Chairmen of the Sub-Committees; Shelley Wieck, Country Director (Rule of Law Initiative Ukraine); Petro Pavlychenko, Deputy County Director.
The participants discussed the prospects of future cooperation between the Committee and American Bar Association regarding anti-corruption activity in Ukraine.
Inter alia, Shelley Wieck stated that "since 2006, the ABA Ukraine has been implementing the Anti-Corruption Coordination Initiative that aims at information exchange and establishment of partner relations between international missions, governmental institutions and public associations that conduct anti-corruption activity in Ukraine".
The People´s Deputy O.Riabeka, Sub-Committee Chairman, and L.Lebediuk, Deputy Manager of the Committee Secretariate, were appointed permanent members of the Anti-Corruption Coordination Initiative.
